1993 Honda Accord rear passenger Seat belt retractor

1993 Honda Accord 4 dr Front Wheel Drive Automatic 170,00 miles

The rear passenger seatbelt is pulled out all the way and will not retract. I notice that part of the belt is folded over where it goes through the slot. How does one get to this part and repair or replace it?

Hi Cuneo,

When the belt gets folded, it would tend to stick and not return. Check from tne anchor point and ensure the belt is iin the correct direction. At the folded point, get it straightened out by pushing it through the slot in the correct position.

If it is difficult to get it done properly you would have to remove the pillar trim.
