I took my vehicle to be serviced for an oil leak. When I recieved it back they said that my clutch, clutch cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, and 2 axle seals need to be replaced. I am planning on fixing this myself, but while looking for parts online I have seen "clutch master cylinder kit" and "cluth slave cylinder kit". Do I need to purchase the "kits" as well in order to fix my clutch? Is there anything else I will need?

Hi awlatour,

If you purchase the clutch master and slave cylinder assy, there is no need to get the repaair kit as it is already inside the new units.

You need to get the clutch disc, pressure plate and throwout bearing and the seals. While you are at it, I would suggest replacing the flywheel oil seal as well.

Don't forget the trans gear oil, which is equivalent to engine oil specs.
