1991 Honda Accord The cooling fans

Power the fan motor from the battery if it comes on-check and test the fan relay/temperature gauge sending unit or coolant temperature sensor.

Ok, I know that the fans are working. But I also know that the fans are late to start when the engine's on. but they start and the engine's never over heating.. So I don't know..

So, if I'am not mistaking, the fans start to late so the temperature's higher, (I have a problem there I think) but it would't be a problem when the engin's shutt off because the temperature goes higher? I don't know.

I need help please again.

If it has both sending unit and sensor test its resistances. One of these two decides when the fan comes by telling the computer to energize the fan relay or the computer is defective.

But another question, sorry.

Would it be a problem due that the battery wires are finish( a lot of blue flufie powder on the battery terminals) or is the batteriy power not sufficient because its old (I bought it restored.. and even new, I found it a little bit weakier then the real new) That is my tought because of the clicking of the relay trying to start maybe.. not enough juice..

Load test the battery if okay double check connections and make sure its all cleaned up also check the starter motor side connection. Also possible causes here could be the starter, starter relay, transmission range switch and ignition switch
