My Honda just recently starting having problems with the steering wheel. The wheel makes a squeaking noise when I make turns, and is tight and hard to turn. The wheel had gotten so tight that I couldn't comfortably drive it. My husband changed the power steering fluid, and that helped, but didn't completely fix the problem. I've never had problems with the steering in this car before, and was wondering what might be the problem.

Hi Janinee,

Check the belt tension. Seems it is loose and slipping causing the pump to work below efficiency and thus the heavy steering.
