1990 Honda Accord 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a customer with a 1990 Honda Accord. She came through our car wash, After her car wash, her wipers did not work. We discovered that the actuator arm on the back of the wiper motor had fallen off. What holds it on? I can feel what seems to be an acorn nut, that is still in place and tight. A white plastic washer came off, but I can"t see what actually attaches the arm to the motor. Can you send a diagram, or let me know where I might find one. If neither of those is possible, can you at least discribe how the arm attaches to the motor?
Thank you very much!

Hi jonmwoodward,

The wiper links are attached to wiper motor pivot by means of a ball and socket. If you look at other connctions along the link, you would note similar ball and socket joints.

The socket has worn itself off and you would need to replace the wiper linkages.
