1990 honda accord lx

I purchased a 1990 honda accord lx the other day and i noticed that between the fuel line running from the gas tank to the engine attached to the firewall looks to be maybe a filter or solenoid of some sort that is missing. first, what is this part and is there a replacement part for it?

honda accord lx 4dr sedan 167842 2.2liter

If it hung on the firewall and was connected to the fuel line it had to have been the filter. Available at most auto parts stores.
