My friend tells me whenever she drives her car ( In warm weather ) its dies and wont start untill it cools down from normall operating temp.I drove it for about an hour, and I cant get it to die. When I drove it,it was raining.I was told in order to find whether the igniter, coil , or stattor is bad,it has to not start. With the ign. off,I checked resistance, ans got 8 when I checked a+ and b-. When I checked resistance with secondary terminal , and a+ it shows no resistance,or no continuity at all.But it still starts right up.I downloded the process from Alldata online, and it does not say to turn ign.on for these test. What am I doing wrong ? Can these items be tested if the car is still operatable. Please help.
