1990 Honda Accord battery,gauges,give it gas it dies

Engine Mechanical problem
1990 Honda Accord 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive 245000 miles

so car was running fine, degrease engine and rinsed off with water, battery light came on still started fine. Next day started all morning, battery light still on was driving and gauges went off then didnt wont to start, got jumped but when give it gas it dies.

When the charging indicator stays on, the charging system should have a fault. The jump starting confirms the battery is weak and you should get the alternator checked.

Check if there are any water inside the distributor cap. Washing the engine tends to have this problem and it would cause the stalling or non starting.
