1988 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 99999+ miles

The engine will surge to 3000 rpm on an intermittent basis. This occurs at any engine temperature.

Try cleaning out the idle air control valve/motor or the speed controller and also the throttle position sensor checked out-Might want to check fuel pressure to ensure its within specs
