Engine is Chugging?

Hi I have a vt wagon and when I'm driving and just idling the car chugs. It chugs so much that it shakes the car. What could that be. It doesn't have a great deal of power either.

Hi there,

You may have a faulty coil pack or faulty ignition leads, this is a common problem, have these check out first, and also get the fuel filter checked as well, i would not hurt to change the plugs if they are over 20,000 Kms old either, start here.
