1993 Holden Commodore Wanting to Stall

I start the car, go to take off, put my foot down on the accelerator and it sometimes acts like it wants to stall, and sometimes it has. This doesnt happen when the car is really warmed up. What may be the problem and how is it fixed?

Go get a diagnostic scan done and check for any unresolved fault codes, when was the last full tune done? is it on LPG? get this done first
