I got a couple very brief low oil pressure alarms and finally was able to read it the third time before disappearing. I checked the oil pressure switch it looked fine. I checked the oil level it was very low. I looked underneath and it looked like it was leaking from the upper oil pan. I removed the oil fill cap again while the truck was running, and the fill cap had excessive pressure. My year model has a sealed CCV box with no serviceable filter. I wanted to check for a clogged PCV valve but don’t know where it is.

Hi,

There isn't a traditional PCV. They refer to it as a CCV, closed crankcase ventilation.

Pics 1,3 and 4 are descriptions of the system, its functions, and how it works. If you look at pic 2, it shows the CVV tube.

Let me know your thoughts or if you have questions.

Take care,

Joe

I have seen bad oil pressure sensor cause brief low oil pressure lights, change sensor and fine also might check wiring to sensor could rubbed through insulation, the low oil level could also be cause.
