High beam don't work when headlights are on auto mode

I have a Mahindra XUV500 W10 model. whenever it's headlights are on auto mode, I am unable to change the low beam to high beams but when headlights are not on auto mode i am able to shift the beam on high. I am totally confused!! What is wrong with it?

Nice looking car, but we don't have access to any wiring diagrams to this car, Sorry, if you find out whats wrong we would like to know.
