Codes P0183, P018, P0113, and P045, hesitation and stalling?

Codes P0183 and P0181 occur pretty regularly. Sometimes, P0113 and P0451 also show up at the same time.

The fuel pump was replaced a couple years ago with a Nissan fuel pump due to a smoke test (to find a tank leak as the car smells like gas when it is filled up all the way) that caused fuel to wet and supposedly burnt a connector pin on the pump. This has resulted in stalling a couple times and many, many times it has come close to stalling. It happens most consistently when it is sunny/hot, and in traffic, but has happened at other times. After the sun goes down, I have been able to drive for several hours (driving Uber) without issue. But the issue is starting to happen at any time of day now.

So, any of these codes can cause the problem you are having. I have seen the EVAP purge solenoid get stuck open and cause the P0541 code. So, we should check that first. Here are the locations in the images below (#4), remove the valve and you should not be able to blow through it, if so, the valve is bad.

Here are the code definitions:

P0183 - Fuel Temperature Sensor A Circuit High Input

P0181 - Fuel Temperature Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance

P0113 - Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor 1 Circuit High Input

P0451 - Evaporative Emission System Pressure Sensor/Switch Range/Performance

The fuel temperature sensor is integrated into the fuel pump so the unit is to be replaced, again, here is the location of the EVAP purge valve and the intake air sensor which is integrated into the MAF sensor (#2) so you can swap them out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know how it goes.

Just noticed this post. Sorry for responding to my other thread earlier today and mentioning the P0181 issue there. I will look for and check the evap purge valve, possibly this weekend. Note P0451 only shows up during more severe hesitation events usually along with P0181 and P0183. As I mentioned in the other thread, I have only seen P0181 the past couple weeks and it has been much less frequent (either due to cleaning the grounds or the cooler outside temperatures).

Regarding the fuel temperature sensor, I may replace that eventually if all else fails. I did find the attached bulletin so it looks like I could possibly replace the sensor without buying a new pump.
