Hesitation accelerating?

Do you have a check engine light warning? If so, we should run the codes to see which ones are stored.

If there are no warning lights, I would check the air filter. If that is okay, I would swap out the fuel pump which I have seen get weak and not allow the engine to get full power. Here is how the job is done. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Hi! The check engine light hasnt come on and stayed on, it will flash on and off for a few seconds every once in a while but from previous experience my car doesnt store codes unless the mechanic was lying to me, so I havent been able to see what it was.

I will check the air filter, and check the fuel pump too in needed. I have noticed it has also recently started making a loud clicking/tapping sound occasionally when its been refusing to accelerate as well. Its been getting worse in general, I'm hoping to dive into it tomorrow!

Sounds good, I would think the fuel pump is weak, but you never know with out testing it. Have good weekend.
