Control switch swap

I'm putting a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe light control switch for the dome light hi, low beam light into the vehicle listed above. I want to know exactly what wires go to what wires to go in my Cadillac.

Welcome back to 2CarPros. Those 2 parts are not interchangeable. They operate in different ways with the 07 switch simply telling the body control module a signal and the 2000 switch controlling the lights internally. Trying to use the newer switch will damage the body control module you currently have and those are not interchangeable either.
What is the reason for the swap?
