Engine squeals

Hi,

Can you provide the engine size? Also, is it possible for you to record the noise and upload it for me to hear? I will also need to know if it has a manual or automatic transmission.

It's a v6 and it's an automatic transmission. i can't record the sound because it only does it every once in a while. it sounds just like the belt, but i took the belt off and it was still doing it.

The idea that it sounds like a belt but doesn't do it with the belt off is a tough one. Could you tell if it was coming more from under the vehicle and not so much the engine compartment? The only thing I can think of is if there is a bearing or something rubbing at times.
