HVAC gurgling noise?

When I accelerate I can hear a gurgling noise on the passenger side under the dash. I do not think it is the heater core because the heating works fine, I do not smell antifreeze and I do not see any antifreeze. Any advice on what I need to check or replace will be greatly appreciated.Take care, David Thompson

99% of the time gurgling means low coolant and air in the cooling system, the gurgling is the air traveling through the heater core. Check the coolant level on the engine when cold and top everything to the cold levels. Start the truck and let it warm up. Check the overflow reservoir once it is up to temperature. Shut it off and watch the level, it should drop as the coolant contracts as it cools. If the level stays the same replace the radiator cap. It is not allowing the system to operate properly.
