heater will only blow on middle vent

My heat will only blow on middle vent we have change the air door actioner(sp) when you put new one back in will not work but you can turn it manually .Is the a value some were that I need to look at
need to get defrost to work and soon as cool weather is upon us

Try disconnecting the battery for a little while after installing the new and see if that helps.
