intermittent heater no working properly

Welcome to 2CarPros.

On this specific vehicle, my first suspect is the connector where the blower motor attaches to power is bad. I have seen them melt due to heat. That is the first thing I would suggest you check.

Here are directions for removal of the blower motor. I'm adding this to help you find and locate the connector. The attached pics correlate with the directions.

PROCEDURES

Ventilation Fan
Removing
1. Remove the wiper arms.
2. Remove the cover over the bulkhead.
3. Remove the water deflector.

4. Remove the wiper unit.
5. Remove the fresh-air filter.

6. Unplug the ventilation fan electric connector.
7. Remove the four retaining bolts for the fresh-air filter frame, remove the frame.

8. Remove the cover over the ventilation fan.
9. Remove the bolt that secures the electric connector.
10. Remove the cables from the electric connector.
11. Remove the bolts and lift up the ventilation fan.

NOTE: Be careful so that the bolts do not fall into the climate control unit.

Fitting
1. Fit the ventilation fan and tighten the bolts.

NOTE: Be careful so that the bolts do not fall into the climate control unit.

2. Connect the cables to the electric connector.
3. Fit the electric connector and tighten the bolt.
4. Fit the cover over the ventilation fan.
5. Refit the ventilation filter frame and tighten the four retaining bolts.

6. Plug in the ventilation fan connector.
7. Fit the ventilation filter.

8. Refit the wiper unit.
9. Refit the water deflector.

10. Refit the cover over the bulkhead.
11. Refit the wiper arms.

Once you get to the plug, check for evidence of it melting or overheating.
