The other day I was driving around when I went to switch my heater from defrost to feet and body then switch it to high and as soon as I hit the high button the whole display shut off. I have checked the fuse and that is okay, but I was told by a friend it might be a control box kind of deal that went out. I am just trying to find somebody that has had this problem and knows the fix.

Additional information:

The heater has always seemed weak in low and medium setting I have not owned this truck long so this is my first winter with it.

I have also tried disconnecting the battery to try to reset the controller still no power to the unit.

I found something I did not see before. The fuses in my instrument panel are not all the right sizes. I have a thirty in the heater/air conditioner spot instead of a twenty five and others are the same, I am going to get those corrected now.
