Heater controls not working properly

A/C works awesome, but the controls to turn heat up and down are not working along with feet and feet/defrost buttons.was working perfectly fine then one day I get in and it's stuck at 61°. It also comes up 17°c Every time I turn it on. The auto button also only puts on A/C.

This is common when the air conditioner control module goes out. here are the instruction on how to change it in the diagrams below. I new unit is $1,300.00 so I would try to find a used unit.
