Heater control will turn the front HVAC unit on but it only operates in vent mode. Will not transfer heat (we are in winter) to the defrosters, floor heater vents, or any of the bi settings. Heater control? Relay? faulty mode actuator (one or two)? If mode selector, is this a big job involving dismantling the lower dashboard, etc.
Thanks! Gene P.

More than likely this is the control panel itself. If you have multiple issues with it not changing the position or temperature then either you have two separate actuators that failed or the control panel is the issue.

However, let's start with checking for codes and seeing if that points us in a specific direction. Here is a guide that will help with this:

Let us know what questions you have but let's start here and go from there.
