Fan and air conditioner keeps coming on and when I do have it on it to demist it goes random and blast in another direction.

anytime you put on demist over 32 degrees F the A/C will come on to speed the process. do not understand the blast in another direction however. do you mean the fan blows but nothing comes out?

Almost reads like the mode door is going crazy and sending defrost air to the other ducts.
LUI IKENASIO, Do you mean that you turn on the demist and instead of blowing at the windshield it goes to the floor or dash outlets instead?

The air con turns on randomly and when I do use it the air con changes form low to high and some times in a different direction e.g if I demist the windscreen the fan will change to my feet or face

that may be a controller problem then have a mechanic scan for codes it may be sending the wrong signal to actuators constantly
