Heater not blowing warmer air on passenger side

the heater single control, blows cold air on the passenger side while blowing hot on the drivers side. I had the heater core flushed and actuators replaced. If I push the air circulation button it will blow warm air on the passenger as well but not as warm as the drivers side.

Hello,

Can I ask which blend door actuators they replaced because it sounds like the wrong one may have been. Here is a guide to give you an idea of what I am talking about along with the diagrams (below) of the location for your car. The first are temperature then mode and then recirculate.

You sent me some diagrams as to where the blend door actuators are and ask which ones were changed. the one under the drivers side, the one behind the glove compartment. so is there more that you cannot get to?

Yes, here are the locations for the remainder of the blend door actuators there are four all together. It seems weird you say its single control but you are having the problem of a dual control? Does all the lights work okay on the control head?

Ok, we changed the actuator on the right side by the passenger door that one was broken. we can see that the one under the dash behind the Glove compartment is moving when you turn the control, we fixed the one on driver side under the dash down by the floor right side of driver area. I can't figure out where the other one is from your diagrams, can you give me a better description of where the fourth one is? we thought we had it fixed but it still is blowing cold air on the passenger side. very hot on the drivers side, when you push the air circulation button in it seems it will blow warmer air on the passenger side, but it fogs up the windows in the car.

Looks to me like you sent pictures of the location of 2 of the actuators but need pictures of the other two please send all 4 pictures together.

For your problem this is the one you want to replace. If you have replaced this one you need to do a wiring check.

If this checks out then I would say the controller is bad and needs to be replaced which a shop will need to program for you.

HVAC PRE-DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information .

Perform the following steps prior to any diagnostic procedure(s).

Testing should only be performed with the battery fully charged to avoid false diagnosis.
With the scan tool, read Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). If PCM DTCs are present, See: A L L Diagnostic Trouble Codes ( DTC )\Testing and Inspection Perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure(s) before proceeding.
Depending on the vehicle configuration, with the scan tool, read Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) DTCs. If TIPM DTCs are present, See: A L L Diagnostic Trouble Codes ( DTC )\Testing and Inspection Perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure(s) before proceeding.
With the scan tool, read HVAC DTCs. Record all Stored, Active, and Pending DTC information.
With the scan tool, read the Environmental Data. Use this data to help identify the conditions in which the DTC was set.
Refer to the When Monitored and Set Conditions for this DTC. DTCs can set at ignition on, at start up, or operating under specific conditions.
Using the wiring diagram as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors related to this circuit and clean/repair as necessary.
Check for controller software updates if applicable. Some conditions can be corrected by upgrading the controller software.NOTE: If the controller is updated with new software, with the scan tool, perform a HVAC Actuator Calibration Test.
Check for Service Information Tune-ups or Service Bulletins for any possible causes that may apply.

You might want to pull the HVAC fuses and then turn the ignition on for a short time then turn it off and reinstall the fuses to try and do a manual calibration.
