Heat not working

What are some ways to check what exactly is the reason my heat is not working. i would like to pin point the problem before i start buying parts and it does not fix the problem.
Note: The mileage listed above is in correct. The correct mileage is 170,469.

Yes, throwing parts is no fun. Lets start by checking the coolant level. If okay it sounds like you have a blend door actuator that is not working.
