Heater blowing cold air

Good morning,

Check your coolant level to sure it is full.

It could be the actuator for the temp control inside the car. I attached the procedure and pictures for you for the repair.

Air Temperature Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the fuse labeled HVAC CTRL (BATT).
2. Remove the steering column filler panel.

3. Disconnect the air temperature actuator electrical connector.

4. Remove the air temperature actuator screws.
5. Remove the air temperature actuator.

Engine Coolant Thermostat Replacement (RPO L61)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (See: Intake Manifold > Removal and Replacement) .
2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 Fill) (See: Cooling System > Removal and Replacement)Cooling System Draining and Filling (2.2L (L61), 2.4L (LE5)) (See: Cooling System > Removal and Replacement) .
3. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp (1) at the thermostat housing.
4. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the thermostat housing.

5. Remove the thermostat cover bolts and cover, if necessary.
6. Remove the thermostat, if necessary.
7. Remove and discard the thermostat cover O-ring seal, if necessary.
