Head bolt torque specs?

I have the car listed above LX with a 2.3l vtec f23a4 engine. I am having a problem finding the head bolt torque specs they are new head bolts. FYI

Hello,

I have included the information that you requested in the diagrams down below. The torque specifications for your vehicle's cylinder head bolts are below

Measure the diameter of each cylinder head bolt at point A and point B.
If either diameter is less than 11.3 mm (0.44 inch), replace the cylinder head bolt.
Apply clean engine oil to the bolt threads and under the bolt heads of all the cylinder head bolts.

Tighten the cylinder head bolts. Tighten the cylinder head bolts in sequence to 29 Nm (3.0 kgf-m, 22 ft. lbs.). Use a beam-type torque wrench. When using a preset type torque wrench, be sure to tighten slowly and do not overtighten. If a bolt makes any noise while you are torquing it, loosen the bolt and retighten it.

Mark the bolt head (A) and the cylinder head (B) as shown.
Tighten the cylinder head bolts until the mark on the bolt head aligns with the second mark on the cylinder head (turn the bolt 180 degrees). If you are using a new cylinder head bolt, tighten the bolt to the the third mark (270 degrees).

Just 22ft lbs total?
I have a Haynes manual and it said like 17 ftlb then 3 90 degree turns after that?
I'm needing the same answer thanks.

Yes, 22 ft lbs is correct. If a bolt makes any noise while you are torquing it, loosen the bolt and retighten it. Mark the bolt head (A) and the cylinder head (B) as shown. Tighten the cylinder head bolts until the mark on the bolt head aligns with the second mark on the cylinder head (turn the bolt 180 degrees). If you are using a new cylinder head bolt, tighten the bolt to the the third mark (270 degrees). I've attached a picture below of the proper torquing sequence for the head bolts.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
