Hazard/Flashers not working

I put in LED hi beams blindly without due caution. Immediately got DRL caution, A day later, flashers.hazards stopped working without any fast blinking. Then replace low and high beams with OEM, flashers still not working or blinking. Replaced fuse #23, flasher worked while testing in driveway, Yay! Went to drive off later, no flashers/hazards, but now get fast blinking!
Suspect another fuse somewhere, or a relay, but looked at schematics, asked 'experts', and cannot locate a flasher replay anywhere on this vehicle.

So currently if you put the hazards on and walk around the vehicle you have no turn signals flashing?

If you put the turn signals on individually and walk around or get someone to check for you are front/rear working or nothing?

The dash lights for turn signals are flashing fast?

Have you retested fuse 23?

Please give a clear run down of what currently works/ doesn't work.

Please carry out a full exterior light check.

It looks like the lighting functions are powered by a control unit (MICU) built into the under dash fuse box. There are no relays as such.

I would check all fuses in the under dash fuse box as a start.

What LED unit did you fit?

Just a replacement bulb?

The only lights out are the flashers and hazard lights on both sides, front and back; all other lights/devices are working. I removed the high beam LED's and put correct lamps in; the dash lights are flashing fast. I did recheck #23 and it is good.

Hey Deau Hickey,

Do you own a multi-meter/12V test light?

The next step will be to check all of the fuses in the under dash fuse panel.

You should have 12V on both sides of every fuse.
If you don't have initially retest with ignition on and engine running.
Let me know if there are any with no power at all and i will check the circuit for you.
You need to establish that you have power to everything at the fuse board.

The next easiest thing to check would be to remove and visually inspect all of the turn signal bulbs, i know this sounds unlikely but it is easy to do and rules out bulbs being your issue.

If you have power at all of the fuses and the bulbs are all okay then i would attempt a reset by disconnecting the battery.

We can also attempt a hard reset to delete control unit memory which may also help.

It sounds like you have input from the hazard switch and the turn signal switch as you have dash lights. With all fuses okay the issue will then be either power/ground or you may have damaged the controller for the lights which is part of the fuse panel.

Let me know how you go with checking all fuses and turn signal bulbs and we will go from there.
