Hatch lock linkage diagram needed

Hatch stopped locking despite actuator moving when pressing button. Key never worked because the hatch was replaced before i bought the car and they did not bother to swap locks or get the key. Interior panel is off. Found linkage from key not connected to key, but hanging and connected on the other end. Snapped that back in place.
Found a linkage arm on the actuator not connected to anything on the other end and not sure where it goes but sure that must have something to do with lock and unlock.
I cannot find, because i cannot see where the other end of that linkage goes. I also want to be sure nothing else is missing. I think i will buy a rear lock with key and install it too.

I found photos of new assemblies on eBay and i was able to figure out that nothing was missing and where that other bit of linkage connects. So i am all good. Fogged the inside of that area with fogging oil and will close it all up when i get a lock and key unit for it.

Good job. I will tell you one thing, I went to look for any diagrams of that hatch in Kia's service information after seeing your response. There are none. I can find the layout for an atomic sub easier than finding a lot of information on some of Kia's vehicles!
Oh, for rust and lube inside of panels you might want to try Fluid Film or Krown. They seem to stay in place and get into the seams real well.

Yup, i hunted for a while before i posted and kept looking eventually finding a picture of the part.

I have had the same issue before with Kia. Even the dealer tech site does not cover many things. Hyundai is the same way. I guess they figure it is all top secret information.
