Every since I had my front bearings and brake pads replaced I have had an harmonic like sound when turn at a slow speed. At first it was only occasionally but now it does it almost every time I turn, mostly right but lately left too. I returned it to the shop right away. they first said they fixed the problem but immediately I heard it again. I have returned my car to the 5 times and they still don't know what the problem is. I feel that it is related to their work and want them to fix it. Just can't find anything regarding the type of noise I am experiencing. This is the only car I have and I am a working single grandmother raising three grandchildren. It is a burden to not have my car every Saturday for the last 5 weeks. I just need some idea of what the problem could be so I can be more proactive in the repair. Thank you for your time

If the noise gets bad or you only hear it when you turn, it sounds like the hub bearings they replaced are bad. Can you hear it when you are driving straight? Is there any cupping on the tires or uneven wear?

First I'd like to say Thank You so much for responding!!!

No only when I turn the wheel. I think my tires are okay. but I haven't really check them. What type of wear am I looking for? Just on the front tires?

Check to make sure the tires are worn smoothly and are not chopped on the sides. Also, I really feel you need to have the bearing rechecked. It sounds like that is where the problem is coming from.

I checked my tires, they seem to be okay. I will be returning my car to the shop this week and will tell them to check the bearing. Thank you for your advice, now at least I know what may be happening.
