Hard to put the first and reverse gear when in neutral

The past two months i find it very difficult to put the first and reverse gear from neutral. It feels like the car want's me to push the pedal more but there is no more space to go down. First gear goes in easier while moving slow though, just before stopping to the traffic lights for example. I have also realized that it gets worse after the car gets hot.

I checked the fluids and all seems to be okay.
