Hard starting in cold weather

I would not consider myself a technician, but have done most work on cars myself including putting an engine in my old Cadillac in my garage. My car listed above starts hard when below about thirty degrees out. Will have to crank it quite a few times and when it finally does start will run rich for a little less than ten seconds. Googled it and switched out the MAF and coolant temperature sensor with no results. Wondering where to look next. Thank you.
