Hello,
Since the car is rear wheel drive, I don't think so, although there are some coolant lines at the rear of the engine that might need to be undone. Here is a guide on the removal of a transmission so you can get an idea of what had to happen to get the job done. I have also included diagrams for the removal for your car (below).
