I put a new reach cooling brand radiator and new hoses on my 1997 F150 4.6 v8 a few months ago because my mechanic said they were going bad. I recently put my truck on the road and when accelerating and turning I noticed there is a gurgling sound behind my dash. Did I properly bleed the air from the cooling system? When I had the radiator and hoses connected I tightened the petcock back up filled the system with a 50/50 mix of coolant until it reached the full line on the expansion tank and ran it with the expansion tank cap off while squeezing the upper radiator hose to expel air. I also turned the heater on on full blast. If you could tell me how to properly bleed my cooling system step by step I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much.
