My truck is the Raptor model.
Okay this is sort of hard to explain but here goes:
I live in a very hilly area, think back country mountain roads with long straight stretches. When cruising about thirty to sixty mph, on a flat road everything is fine. But when the elevation changes, and I hit the bottom of a hill and start to go back up in elevation (when suspension becomes slightly compressed, more weight is being applied) there is a grinding noise/sensation that is felt throughout the vehicle.
It also occurs when coasting down a hill at just about any speed, both in drive and in neutral. Applying brakes makes no difference, but I have noticed a slight vibration in the steering wheel when applying the brakes as well, not sure if this is related or not. Braking is otherwise fine during all other driving conditions.
I have replaced both front wheel bearing hub assemblies and IWE's.
