I would say that 95% of the time if I put the car in reverse there is no noise at all. If i accelerate then there is a grinding noise that seems to come from the front drivers side. I occasionally get the noise when I make some sharper turns right.

I have read online that it could be fixed by changing out the rear differential fluid? Also read that changing the transmission fluid and filter could fix it.

Any ideas?

I have also noticed that if the front end is raised or lowered--parked on an incline or decline the noise seems to be worse.

sounds as if something is moving in the suspension in reverse and touching a mud flap or the body. Have someone watch for any movement while you load up the drive line in reverse, there should be no movement apart from some deflection in the suspension bushes, but this is only very minor. look at this first.
