The last time I drove my car (6/20/2022), I was driving on city streets about nine miles from office to residence at night and started to hear low grinding noise from front of car. When I backed the car into the parking space the grinding noise was louder. Almost seven months earlier, the car had the same noise that started April 2020 right after an oil change. The noise was off and i started warming up my car longer before driving it and didn't hear noise as often. The noise finally went away after an oil change (new shop) end of Nov. 2021. Since April 2020, the car is only driven on city streets to office and local errands about four-five times a month.

Does the grinding noise change when you apply the brakes? It could be brake pads that need replacement, if you upload a short video of the noise I can tell for sure. Just in case, here is a generic guide on how to change the brake pads out with specific instructions in the diagrams below. This video is the job being done on the same brake system.

And a generic guide.

Check out the diagrams (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
