Green foot light on dashboard

Hello and welcome to 2CarPros. That is a different problem, lets see if we can figure it out. I suspect it is an issue with the brake pedal position sensor. That is the brake switch mounted to the side of the brake master cylinder under the hood. It is operated by a magnet inside the master cylinder. The only way to test it involves using a scan tool and watching what the switch does as the brake pedal moves. You could try lifting the pedal up towards the steering wheel, it might be that the magnet isn't returning all the way.
The switch is about $30.00 so it is cheaper than a dealer visit. To replace it you remove the engine trim cover, disconnect the electrical connector. Then remove the bolt that holds the switch on. Reverse the process to install the replacement.
