Going into limp mode

I just purchased the car listed above and I had it for a week and a half ran great. now I have a check engine light and it is in limp mode. took it to a shop and they told me that it had no voltage. he asked if I changed the battery and I said no so he did a battery rest to fix the TCM. worked great for 10 to 15 miles and then the check engine light came back and kick it back into limp mode. it has been in a shop for almost a week now and I don't think it has been looked at yet. I'm just trying to get suggestions on what it could be.

Hello,

This could be a problem with your throttle body needing to be cleaned. When you have a lot of volume of air passing through something, like your throttle body, all the pollutants in the air collect on the walls over time leaving a black sludge like substance that needs to cleaned from time to time. If not, this sludge will interfere with the Throttle Position Sensor, skewing the reading that the Power-train Control Module (PCM) or "computer" receives and the PCM will then go into "limp mode".
