no fuel to injectors

I have a 1997 GMC 4door Yukon 4 wheel drive 5.7 350 vortec engine.With 120,387 miles on it. My fuel pump started to make a humming sound and the next day it went out. I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter and now can not get fuel to the injectors. I tested the old pump to make sure that it was not working after i took it out and it would not come on.I have 45psi at the injectors I checked it with a pressure gauge also checked to make sure I had power to everything and to the injectors.If I unhook the fuel supply and return line I get very good flow.I can get to start with starting fluid and keep it running that way. I have not gotten a service engine light to come on either. Checked all fuse and nothing is blowen.
I know that I must be missing the obvious because I can not believe that my luck is so bad that I lost all 8 injectors at one time. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks Joe
