The cabin air filter was discontinued after the 2002 model Yukons. The 2006 GMC Yukon is not equipped with a cabin air filter.

Thanks for the reply... I guess i got misled. Rock Auto sells cabin air filter for 2006 GMC yukon XL. I'll just return it with a note advising them there is no such thing.

Yes, that is misleading. They sell the filters because you can have an aftermarket cabin filter installed at a shop for the vehicle. However, there is no factory installed cabin filter and most people never choose to pay extra to have an aftermarket one installed.
