First, the ABS was active during all braking...8 miles an hour to stop. Also, there was a noise (grinding) during acceleration that stopped after 8 MPH reached. Dealer replaced ABS sensor. The ABS brakes are now working correctly, but the noise is still occuring when accelerating, but stops when reaching 8 MPH. The noise does not exist if I disable the traction control.

thoughts?

no warning lights come on...the dash is clean. Just the noise when accelerating. No noise when the TC is disabled.

We just bought this thing used, and have short term warranty with the dealer. Any info will help me out.

thanks for your responses!

also forgot to add check the tire pressure and make sure all the tires are the same size and have the same amount of tread, this WILL make the stabilitrac sys activate.

tires are within 1 pound of each other.

rear tires have more wear than front. I was going to have dealer replace rear tires as part of deal, but changed my mind. I do plan on replacing all 4 tires after winter. maybe I should rotate front to back. But again, the rear tires have noticable wear.

I did try to pay attention to road surface. First thought it was due to wet roads, but the noise is consistant on all surfaces. right now, everything is either wet, snowy, icy, or dry with salt dust! illinois
