My truck was having intermittent blower outages, now it doesn't come on at all. I have been researching this and am running across confusing terminology about a "blower motor resistor" and a "blower motor command module". I thint mine has the "command module", but when I oulled it apart, I see what appears to be the "resistor" described several places on the 'net.
1- Does an '05 vehicke actually HAVE a resistor?
2-Is the "command module" located at the blower?
3-I see what could be a "command module" with the 5 wire "resistor" plugged into it.... am I on the right track?
4-Any luck finding either/or needed one of these at local parts stores?

Thanks for any clarification....

Ok yes your truck does have a blower motor resistor and they go bad and you will have no blower motor. Here is a pic of it and you can do an ohm test on it if you have a digital multi meter. Let me know what you would like to do. Napa part number is BR275.
