2003 GMC Yukon Driver's side seat heater

The seat heater for the driver's side has started to malfunction, it will turn on for a few moments then trigger off. When the driver's side switch goes off, it also turns off the passenger side seat heater as well. When only the passenger side seat heater is on, it stays on as normal. This is for a 2003 Yukon XL Denali with 104,000 miles. This just started to malfunction.

check the connectionsunder the seat just after the seat turns off see if you have power to the connector if not then you will need to check the memory seat module for power the seat possition and the heat work through that module

How difficult is it to replace the memory seat module???

first check dealer to see if there is a recall on the module if there isn't one then you will have to remove seat to change

There's two nuts that need to be removed under the driver's side front seat, once removed the seat comes loose, disconnect some of the wiring and you'll see a black box, that is your module.
