I have a 1999 Yukon SLT V8 Vortec engine has 178520 miles on it. Drove it Friday and was running fine went to move the car yesterday, Monday and it turns over but will not catch, then does a run on thing like an old out of tuned carb engine would do.
My car has always been very reliable and started on the first try even when the temps were -22. We have been having a warm up here in Alaska with temps in the mid 30's and lows in the 20's. Heat wave!
So looking for what could possibly have happened. Fuel pumps seems to be working, new battery and starter, new alternator (within last 18 mos.) replace gasket within last 6 months. Can plugs go over night? Haven't done a tune-up since May 2006? Could that be it?
Thanks ahead of time for the assistance.
