I was told that one of the only ways to even suspect rolled back KM's on a truck this old is to look at the odometer and see if the numbers line up. I took a picture of a Yukon that I want to buy, which seems perfect in other ways, but still slightly hard to believe that the 94 vehicle has only 65,000km. I checked out local air care center which requires you to get the vehicle checked out each year before re-insuring it and they take note of the KM's, and there are no suspicious numbers, although is perfectly possible that this person rolled them back each year. I was hoping an expert can look at the attached picture and give me their opinion whether they believe it may actually have been tampered with.

Thank you for your time.[img:4ef2074b06]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/441536_IMG_0205_1.jpg[/img:4ef2074b06]

Hi there,

This is just to hard to say, looking at the pic it looks fine, if the service history tally with the readings you should be ok, I have seen older cars with low Kms, (or miles) they are about, it is extremely difficult to tamper with these and and get it looking correct again, i feel that the alignment looks fine. There will be other signs that the car may have done more work, your mechanic will be the best place person to check this out for you.
