a local garage wants to charge me 1800 dollars to replace the ball joinsts on my 1995 gmc k1500.

does this price seem reasonable?

Hi there,
This is a time consuming and expensive job, Labour time to replace 4 ball joints is approx 7 hrs and the ball joins cost about $72.00 each for the lower and between $ 80 - 90.00 each for the uppers depending on if riveted or pressed in type.
