1991 GMC Truck No Fuel No Spark

1991 GMC Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

1991 GMC 2500 350 engine. My wife was driving my truck to work and it hesitated a little like it was going to die but it made it. After she got off she tried to start the truck and it would only turn over but not start. I checked the fuel pump and it's getting fuel up to the carb but not to the injector port and i checked to see if it was getting spark and there is no spark. Any ideas on what i should do next ?

If there is no spark at the plugs or injector pulse during cranking, I'd look for an rpm signal. Possibly the pick-up coil or ignition module. I'd check the wiring circuits before replacing anything.

I appreciate your input JD. Is this a hard thing to fix or is it something that myself, not knowing too much about vehicles, would be able to fix.
