need help on electrical system that is in steering column. have had it replaced once, helped bring back everything, from my spedometer, gas mileage, shifting, overall performance had gotten better, what i want to know is if the brain under the hood, that the wires hook into, can go bad or if it should have been replaced when wires were replaced. vehicle is leggy, trouble shifting, trouble going, using gas. when light is on in the dash for the D in drive (those symbols then suburban runs better, if it starts without the light on then it will run badly and i have to restart it 10 - 12 times to get it to change back to good mode, as soon as i shut it off i am back to where i started. code comes up as bad battery, then bad tranny, but my tranny should not come and go with my lights ,, should it?? have replaced spark plugs and wires, battery, front brakes, flushed oil and new oil filter, new relay, new fuel filters and pump, new distributor, new heater, fushed radiator, replaced hoses, and fixed hold in tranny. cannot get dashlights to work properly and they seem to trigger all the other problems i am having. Any ideas or suggestions/? thank you for your time and help in this matter.
